 You must be 18 years or older.   Enroll in and complete the required 60-hour Pre-License course then take and pass the Real Estate Agent exam.  Apply for a license at the Arkansas Real Estate Commission

After completing the pre-license salesperson course you will receive a packet from our school. You will need to include the following payment with the packet and mail it to the Arkansas Real Estate Commission. A $50 application fee, $22 Arkansas criminal background check fee, and $14.25 FBI criminal background check fee. For a total of $86.25 it will need to be in the form of a Make cashier’s check or money order payable to “AREC” . (No personal checks)
Additional expense to expect is the charge of $75.00 to take the real estate exam. This fee is paid when you schedule a time to take the exam. If you will be joining a real estate firm that is a member of your local board of realtors you will also have to pay a fee to join the board. It is encouraged to contact your local real estate board office to find out what amount is charged to new members joining the board.

Arkansas Real Estate Commission has set required instructional time for all of our courses. If an emergency arises, we will work to help you find a time to make up the missed hours and content.
